I’m awful at assembling anything. Even with the best instructions I mess up whatever I was putting together. This was super easy even for me!! I bought a cheap canvas poster thinking it was ready to hang. So figured I’d try this and couldn’t be happier. My son will love his Christmas gift. It took minimal time and no tools needed. You have to clip the corners and I used the handle of scissors to pound the little staple pieces in the pre drilled holes!!

The frame kit worked well for me. I had never attempted to stretch a canvas over a frame before. The project went well. Looks like a professional job. The instructions worked, but be careful on the placement of the wooden frame pieces before removing tape and attaching to canvas. This step is critical and could be emphasized more. This was my first PBN that I actually finished. It was fun and kept my interest, not too difficult, and was awesome to be framed on canvas already. I was a perfectionist, so I did it in 2 sittings, but probably only took a couple hours, maybe 2-4. I loved it.

Using this product was the first time I had mounted a canvas so I was a little nervous but the instructions were clear and the process was easy! The final product looks great and the whole thing was pretty quick. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is the staples that hold the corners of the frame were fused together and very difficult to get apart. I tried prying with pliers to no avail. Eventually I had to use a flat head screw driver and a hammer to wedge them apart and even then it took some serious force. This was the longest part of the whole process!

P.s.-The paints come watered down so that is my only negative experience, but there is more than enough paint provided to do as many coats as needed. When it compares to how much I love this experience, it’s not important at all!

This was exactly what I wanted! This was a picture I took in York, England and I’m so happy I could paint this moment.
Cons – the light green, orange, and red were not as thick as I’d hoped. You could see the numbers under several layers of paint. I ended up globbing a lot of paint over the number, which made a weird texture. Also, use your own brushes if possible (theirs are a little cheap).
Pro – the rest of the paint is fantastic. The canvas came already on the frame so it wasn’t rolled or folded. And I did not have to attach to the frame. There was more than enough paint (DO NOT WATER DOWN). Came out like an impressionist painting.
I painted on an easel, which saved my back from working on a table top.
Don’t choose an image that has a lot of detail. It’ll be harder to paint with all the colors, and these images become naturally blurred as paintings. Not a lot of definition.

Lone light house,I love this site. I have bought 6 paint by number kits and the are all very good quality. These kits are very therapeutic. When I feel stressed I just get my painting out and then the stress melts away. The customer service is excellent. I emailed them regarding a painting I bought and they answered right away and handled my problem. If you want to buy these paint by numbers don’t go to any other site. This one is the best.

Fun but..,Beautiful painting but when I received it, the lines and numbers were very thick and dark compared to another I had gotten. Even after 2 or 3 coats I can still see them. Colors differed from website picture but I still like it. I am in no way an artist but was very fun to do.

Arrived when expected and packaged well. Returned because when i ordered it expected something else. It is a soft canvas sheet which would need to be mounted to frame- not a hard surface canvas which was what my daughter wanted. She wants to be able to “lean†it up when done.

Some areas were very difficult to read without a magnifying glass. I did this as my very first piece. I don’t recommend this for beginners but I am happy with how it came out. Some of the numbers will show through the color and require multiple coats. I wish they provided an extra black vial.

In the hunt for finding new quarantine hobbies, I’ve discovered that people are resorting to adult versions of childhood activities – adult coloring books, oil painting by numbers, what’s next? I decided to jump on that bandwagon and take on one of my favorite paintings. I love art, but lack any type of drawing or painting skill whatsoever, so being able to create something even remotely resembling the original is exciting for me. “Starry Night Over the Rhone†isn’t as popular as Van Gogh’s “Starry Nightâ€, so options for this DIY painting were limited. One that I saw had negative reviews, and the other one showed blues that were darker in hue than I liked, so I went with this. I made the right choice! The paint is a good thick consistency where you can cover up mistakes if (when) you accidentally paint in the wrong spot. The kit has everything needed and I appreciate not needing to get extra supplies. The instructions are clear and comes with pictures and tips on how or get the best results, which is awesome. It’s been relaxing and enjoyable working on a little bit of this every day. One con is that the canvas was folded in the package and there are fold lines – I’m hoping these will be less apparent as time goes on and when paint is covering the entire surface. The spaces are so small due to the nature of this painting, so the numbers are also small – not a problem for me, but may be harder for older eyes. My mom has contributed to these painting efforts and she uses a magnifying glass without problem. I’m also all about packaging, and this product’s packaging is abysmal – it came in something that resembled a small black trash bag. Good thing this purchase was for my own entertainment and not a gift, otherwise it’s not presentable – so keep that in mind if you’re buying for someone else!

We are not done with the painting yet but couldn’t stop myself from posting this review. My daughter loves to paint and she loves cats. I bought this kit so we both can paint together. It was very easy to guide her to select the colors and She did a very good job staying within the lines. The most wonderful thing was that this design has 16 colors and that made her so happy with the colorful outcome, it’s coming out very beautiful. The only minor thing that “I†had trouble with is the tiny numbers on the canvas that could be printed little bigger. In my opinion. The brushes provided are different sizes, very good to paint bigger areas to very small areas. The kit had enough paint to cover the canvas and we are going to have a lot of paint left over as well. We already talking about framing it and hanging it in her room.

I was so excited to start this when I got the package I am mediately started painting, it takes a lot of time but it’s really fun. although as I gradually got more and more into the painting I realized that the picture that it comes with as a reference is not the painted picture it’s the actual picture so the painting is a little in accurate.

This is one of the BEST QUALITY paintings l have ever found. It is coming out beautifully. The symbols are clear and easy to see. There were a couple just a little low on beads (there aren’t a lot spaces for them and a similar colored bead cld be used to substititute). But I contacted the company. They got back to me right away and sent me a whole new one!! The canvas for both is of excellent quality. I see there are mixed reviews on this product …..I am extremly picky about my paintings and this one is truly gorgeous, and one of the best I have ever come across and I’ve done dozens of them.
