I bought a canvas print online not realizing it wasn’t framed so I bought this to frame it. The instructions were very easy to follow and the double sided tape is very strong. I would definitely purchase from this company again if I needed a canvas frame. Just make sure the canvas is stretched before you apply it to the sticky part. As I said it is very strong adhesive and I found out the hard way.

This is an exciting kit! I have purchased quite a few kits, and as you know, it takes a while to paint one of these. Theyen I do get started on it, I will edit my review. are so relaxing and time passes so quickly when I am painting. Having fun,My greatest complaint is that you are showing a photograph of a still life. This is not the same as the painting that will come from this kit. Why do you not post on your website an actual finished version of the painting? In my case, there is no handle on the white vase. The vase looks a lot different (not shiny) from the photo on your site. The fruits (apples and pears) are not as lifelike as the photo. (Oddly, the photo posted by another reviewer does have a handle on the vase and the coloration on the vase is different!) I’m not saying that my finished painting is not pleasant, but you are not showing a representative picture of what we are buying, and I think that is very wrong.

Using this product was the first time I had mounted a canvas so I was a little nervous but the instructions were clear and the process was easy! The final product looks great and the whole thing was pretty quick. The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is the staples that hold the corners of the frame were fused together and very difficult to get apart. I tried prying with pliers to no avail. Eventually I had to use a flat head screw driver and a hammer to wedge them apart and even then it took some serious force. This was the longest part of the whole process!

The fact that I didnt have to strain to pull on the canvas to wrap, nor use my feet to hold it in place (my pieces are typically large and needs extra stability to stretch) was a HUGE blessing. I will use this again and again. Great Product here, highly recommended!!!

Just opened it and it looks fantastic. Numbers are all very legible. I only wish the frame was set out a little wider so that the entire picture was centered. As it is, the border will have part of the picture. But overall I am very happy with this purchase. All the pieces were included and the stand was somewhat easy to put together. Had to look at the picture online to figure it out, so in the future it would be better if it was included in the package.

I did one of my cat and ordered another (just finished last night) of my sister’s dog. These kits are VERY easy to do and come out looking great! The only thing I can’t figure out, and I read this in another review, pictures with a lot of white end up with a lot of green. I guess it’s to give it shading, but on the second one, I painted over quite a bit of the green with whites and grays to make it look more like the original.

I had to stretch one of my 16″x20″ digital photos printed on canvas for an art exhibit. I am new at this and was a little nervous. I had never stretched a canvas before. It took me some time to figure out what I had to do but it looks really good. I recommend this product, but emphasize that one must understand the directions completely before doing anything at all.

I bought this for my 7 year old to paint this summer and she loved the kit! I loved that for less than $10, everything you need is included and she can either follow the paint by number pattern or you can paint it whatever way you want with the included paints. The paints are numbered on the lids so you can easily match them to the canvas. The canvas is really nice quality and you get all the paints and 3 brushes in different sizes to paint larger and smaller sections of the canvas. My daughter did most of it herself, but I did have to help on some of the small parts.
The paints are oil paints, so they are thick and do take a few hours to dry, so you’ll have to paint this in shifts so as not to smear it. You get plenty of paint and you’ll have a lot left over that you can use for other projects. She was so pleased with herself that she made this and hung it up. I will definitely be buying more of these sets for her.

Spring Humming Bird,My painting did not come with an instruction guide. I ran out of some paint and had to try and match the paint at my local craft store. I was not able to match the paint so I ended up mixing colors to try and come up with the closest match. I have ordered many paintings from My Paint By Numbers. I have noticed that some come from the US and some from China. If the come from the US they seem to have the guide. I would like all of the paintings to come with the guide because some of the numbers on the canvas are difficult to read.

Missed 5 stars only because fan brush is not protected in case. It arrived with bristles bent and crushed which cannot be corrrcted due to “material memory†from being bent so long. Other brushes were intact and okay.
