Privacy policy

The short version

Your photos are never uploaded. The paint-by-number conversion runs entirely inside your web browser using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas. Images you select stay in your device's memory, are used only to draw the preview, and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

What we do not collect

• We do not receive, transmit, store or process the images you convert.
• We do not require an account, an email address or any personal detail to use the generator.
• We do not sell or share personal information with third parties.
• We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

What may be collected

Server logs. Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider records standard request data — IP address, timestamp, page requested, referring page and user agent — to serve the site, keep it secure and diagnose faults. These logs are retained for a limited period and are not linked to any individual identity.

Local browser storage. The site may store small preference values, such as your last-used slider settings, in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device, is never sent to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics. If privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics are used, they record only page-level counts and contain no personal identifiers, no cross-site profiles and no image data.

Your rights

Because we do not hold personal accounts or image data, there is generally nothing about you for us to export or delete. If you believe we hold information relating to you and would like to request access, correction or erasure — including under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA or the Hong Kong PDPO — write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

The service is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
